Hello catbdcg,

Is it possible that the two tubes are not actually solids in MDT? Were they imported from another system or created in AutoCAD and opened in MTD for example? If you are getting the message "No solids detected" then you need to determine why they are not considered solids. Did you create them in MDT? What MDT commands are you using to trim them?

It's also possible that the intersections of the two tubes are such that one cannot trim the other. Did you try positioning a plane at the proper intersecting angle and then try trimming both tubes to the plane? That's a method but first you need to find out what's wrong with the tube geometry. It sounds like they are not native MDT solid features.

Thanks.
