Wow, a full on drawing with all the parts and assemblies would be nice, but the training Al is talking about is a good way to go for sure.

You can probably find some companies or schools in your area that would be willing to provide you with example of what they do. You can call and tell them you're doing it for a project.

go for the training though. you can get that kind of stuff there too and learn a bit while you're at it.
