create a revolved protrusion say a sphere and then create a datum plane offset to any of the principal plane and then go to Insert > advanced > blend section to surfaces. Pick the revolved surface and then pick the offset datum plane as the sketching pane and sketch a closed section eg:a rectangle.then see the preview.
