Binding Images

I'm having difficulties getting images to stay visible. Once I save the drawing to another directory the drawing cant find the reference of the image. Even when I paste the image into the drawing it still seems to be looking externally for the image reference. Is there some way of binding the image to stop it looking outside of the drawing for the image?
