Default Object selection?
I'm wanting to turn the option off after pickin an object and you see the grip points and usualy dashed line. I don't see the dashed, its solid with the grips. I want to turn it back to dashed. remember it's not a rollover effect. Its after the object has been picked and you see the grips. before a command is issued even. Any suggestions?

If you are using AutoCAD 2008, go to the "Options" menu, "Selection" tab, "Visual Effect Settings..." command button. On the left side of the "Visual Effect Settings" dialog box, change the Selection Preview Effect to Dash.

Make sure your HIGHLIGHT system variable is set to "1".
