Problem with x-ref plot preview

When I do a plot preview on a this particular drawing, the x-ref doesn't show up. But on the layout and in model space it is displayed fine. Any suggestions?

1. Select the xref and list it.
2. Check to see in which layer the xref resides.
3. Now go into the layer manager and find the same layer.
4. Verify that the printer symbol (Layer Plot/No Plot toggle) does not have a red line crossing it.

Check the layer on which the xref resides. Is it a non-plotting layer?
