Default Stacked fractions

I know how to use horizontal fractions as the default when dimensioning. However, sometimes I need to use a text override. I can't seem to make the dimension a horizontal fraction, even if I type 1^2 in the text override box. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Select the dimension, then goto "Properties", and in the "Text" category, you should see the option to change the "Fractional Type" to horizontal, diagonal, or not stacked.
