Default Stretching Excel BOM

I am working for a Manufacturing company and we created all of our Bills Of Materials in MS Excel. We import the BOM into the drawing and Paste Special a link to the Excel Worksheet. How can you stretch the Excel Spreadsheet horizontally without stretching it in the vertical. Any suggestions?
