Thanks Mech for your contribution. Your tutorial on Spring modeling is well written and very easy to follow.

One note: The final result is a surface model of the helical spring. A solid version can be made by switching to the Part Design workbench, and use the Close Surface tool to make a solid from the surface.

Thanks a lot for your appreciation, initially when tried to trace tutorials on web for beginers I had lots of problem, since I wanted to contibute something from my side to beginners when ever time allows.

hello , i have a problem while downloading your tutorial...its comes out to be a file with .php extension. of size 27kb. plz help.
