Default 3D sketch and workplanes
Is there a way to add workpoints/workplanes on a 3d line made from two intersecting extruded surfaces?

Normal to Path workplane: Workplane tool->pick the 3D line and pick one of
the end points on the 3D line. You can pick any point to place a workpoint.
