Catia and Inventor
Can some one help me?
I have catia files, CatPart and i want to open them in Inventor. How do i have to do that? (I dont have catia)

unless you have about $4000 US lying around, I haven't been able to find anything but I will give you the places I was able to find anyway.

Catia plug-in for Inventor
TransMagic has a range of plug-ins for Inventor that allows you to read/write Catia, UG, ProE etc. Check this out on their site
AutoCAD, CAD Software, 3D Models Translation-SolidWorks,Catia,Unigraphics,Pro Engineer
Awesome product. It also has great healing facilities.

you can go here :

you post your files and 24 hours (office time) they send the translated files
you must log in for the translation services
0-25 MB = 100$
26-50 MB = 250$

If you save your Catia v5 part and product files as .igs, then Inventor can open them up. Its a crude way of doing it, but it works.
