Convert a jt file to a ipt file

I need to insert a .jt file into a .iam assembly file but the .jt needs to be converted to a .ipt part file first. Is there a conversion program out there? I have JT2go so I can view the .jt file but that is all I can do.

Save as .jt file to .iges or .stl extensions & then open this in Autodesk Inventor (Assembly).
