I want a section view in Inventor 10

I have an ansalmbe built in inventor and when I want a section view it gives me a normal view.
It doesn't make the section break. For each of the component of the ansamle eat does make the section view, but I don't have the view section of the whole ansamle. Please tell me how can I get the section of the whole ansamble.

Are you trying to create a section from an isometric view? If you are it wont make a section exactly how you think it should. Tell me step by step what you are doing to create the section. Also make certain that you have the right view selected when you try to section it.
