Cool loft rails

Hey,

Can someone tell me what "Rails" means in the loft screen? and how to use it?

Loft rails are lines (either 2d or 3d) that intersect the sections of your loft. They are used to control the twist of the lofted part. Here is a powerpoint presentation that explains all about lofting. http://www.aaue.dk/bm/inventor/inven...ft-feature.pdf
