New work project created unknowingly???

We currently have 3 users working with a single project location. Once in a while we find that a new project location is somehow created and we are working in that location. What would cause this to happen????

Please help!!!

Here is some input from Duncan Anderson on the Autodesk Discussion groups page:

• Is the single location on a server ?
• How did you map the location, did you use UNC ?
• Are you using Vault ? If not, why not ?
