set color

I am trying to model a handfull of insulation but can not get the texture correct. There is not a insulation texture selection. I am using a cork selection for texture but want to change the color to a lighter color. I am using Inventor 11. Thanks for any help...Al

Hello anoyes,

Take the cork texture and open it up in a paint program. There should be a "texture" folder where it would be located. Change it how you want, lighter etc. and then save it with a new name such as "cork-lighter.bmp" using a ".bmp" extension. Then go into the the style editor and create a new color and in the texture section slect "choose" and the new texture file should be listed along with the others.
