Default Snap in sketches

Hi,
While creating a line in a new sketch in an idw, I could not manage to make them snap to the underlaying views.
Any suggestions and help.

Before starting a sketch, select the view you wish the sketch to be associated to, then begin your sketch.

Hi,
As Aardvark said you have to make sure that the view that you want to snap to is selected when you hit the sketch button, then it becomes associative to that view. Then you need to project the geometry through to the sketch in order to snap to it.
