Default pro desktop information

hello all yesterday i visited a local colledge, they wish to upgrade there metal work department, and to give the students some hands on experience by renovating cars.

desighning and building a go cart etc.

the desighn package they use is called PRO DESKTOP , which is something i have not heard of, but appears to be a package by ptc used by colledges to teach students 2d-3d cad.

when i asked if pro desktop had simular sheet metal funtions simular to autocad inventor/solidworks in the fact that one could fold/unfold/ add flanges etc, this seemed to cause confusion.

looking on the internet to get a bit more on pro desktop i cannot find if pro desktop has these funtions inbuilt , or there is an add on of some kind.

thank you
