Program Automatically Closes?

Im pretty new to this program and to this board so I have a problem thats been really bugging me.

Every time I try (While working on an assembly) to use either the drag components tool or try to use the pin constraint the program automatically closes itself with no warning or error message. I just click and then a second or so later the program is gone. Is there any way to find out why its doing that and to fix it? I started trying to look through the debugging commands but I don't really know what I'm doing.

Im using Wildfire 3. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
