Default Opening SE Sheet metal files in Solid Works.

Thanks to this forum, and the revision manager I have been sucessfull in sending an assemble and all its part files very easily.
My new question is,

When the recipriant tried to open it in Solid works, he could only open the part files, not the sheet metal files, I dont think he got the assembly open either.

Is there a better format for him to recieve from me?
or is this just his problem on his end?

Thanking you all in advance
JK

Hi JK,

I'm not very sure what SolidWorks can open from Solid Edge. But by looking at your description, i suppose they're unable to read SE Sheet Metal files in .PSM format.

Otherwise, you can output to STEP format from SE.
