Default Threading

hello guys..
i want to draw a shoulder screw..

kind of bolt, with screws..

with the thread command, am applying it to the cylinder
but all i get is a a green surface..

plz help me and tell me how to get a screw

Cool Is it a standard screw?

Is it a standard shoulder screw that you need? If so, why not find a screw library somewhere so you can download it? SE may have one. We'll check around also. If it's a custom screw, then that's another matter. However, you may still start out with a standard screw and modify it. Do you plan on manufacturing the scew, or is it a stock standard screw?
