How do I create a custom symbol to use in my drawing?

We found FAQ in the SW website that might help.

We'll come up with something more specific also. Hey you SolidWorks users out there! Chip in and give rita some info about creating and editing custom symbols (i.e., blocks).

open a new dwg in SW

draw hte symbol

or if u have autocad dwg u can also import

then simply right clik on the symbol and clik block and make

to use them quickly right alick again and select add to design library
