Optimization in Cosmos SW 2007

Hi there, We have a range of racing car chassis components which we must run FEA analysis of and then optimize.

The components have all undergone FEA work but we are all struggling with the optimisation function.

We need to minimise mass, possibly by upgrading material or modifying design.

The components are designed close to theor limit as we had a very low weight limit specified for the original design.

Could someone give us a fairly straightforward and clear walk thru.
