PhotoWorks Decal Not Show When Rendered

Hi,
I have a problem when I insert a decal on to a surface, when I render it in photoworks the decal despairs and only the model is rendered.
However I have inserted a sample decal that comes with solidworks and when I render it, it is rendered with the model. So I don't know why one would render but not the other?
I am using SW2007 service pack 5 and photoworks 2.
Also when I insert my decal as a jpeg or bmp I save it in SW as a p2d file.
