Default Reload a part

Hi all,

How to reload a dimmed out part within an assembly ? One way I tried was to "set the part to resolved", but some parts don't work out. I had seen a "reload" command, but I can find it from the File pull down menu only. I mean I couldn't reload a particular part in the assembly, please advise on this.

Regards,

sweng

I'm not exactly clear on what you are asking. Are you asking how to replace a part within an assembly? Or simply reload the part?

My guess: Is the part/assembly in Lightweight mode? If so, it may not be automatically update in the assembly when you edit it directly. Try resolving the part.
