MADawg69 - I had not done this for a few years, so I started from scratch. I opened a SW drawing template (.slddrt) from inside the data folder under Programs/SW2006. When this opened, I edited the sheet format and changed a few things. Then I went back to "edit sheet" and then selected "Save Sheet Format". I gave the format a new name and saved it back into the format folder it came from.
Then, I opened a new drawing, and used the browse option to find my sheet. After it's all opened, I got a new drawing sheet that looks just like the one I modified.
I think this was what you said you did, so if the format does not save, perhaps you are trying to write to a folder you do not have permissions. Try saving back to a local folder that you know you have write permissions. if this does not work, there may be something amiss with your SW installation.
