Shaded text in Drawing???

I have sheets that randomly display shaded text (Light Tan). This text also prints shaded. The rebuild function doesn't correct the issue. I believe all the text that is shaded is text / notes that I manually place in the sheet. I am using SW2007. Does anyone know what is going on here and what I need to do to correct this?
