shell model for Ansys

Gents,

I need to draw a model which when transferred to ansys will only be a shell model ie no thickness. A sketch does not work. Is there a way to draw a simple model like a car oild sump cover, bonnet etc, and save it as a part - the catch is ithas no thickness?
