Default Stock sizes in BOM (SW 2007)

I am having an awful time trying to establish a BOM template that will generate "thickness x width x length" information referring to the stock size. I set up a part with the necessary properties and am using it as a template. All of the pertinent info from the part is readily shown on the drawing BOM, except for the stock size.
We are migrating from Mech Desktop to SolidWorks 2007. After years of using MDT and being able to modify it to perform the functions that I need, I am quite disappointed with the difficulty I am having with SolidWorks to perform the same functions.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance

System Info: Dell Precision P4 Dual-Core, 2 GB RAM, Windows XP Pro
