View menue disabled

Hi,
I am surprised see that my view menus are disabled and dimmed - I cannot check/uncheck the items to view - like sketches etc.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Possibilities:
1. Do you have the correct document loaded to have access to those selections? If no, then load the appropriate document.

2. If yes, then exit SolidWorks and restart computer. Load SolidWorks again. Is the problem still there?

3. If yes, make sure your graphics card driver is current (or at least one that is certified by SolidWorks.com). If your driver is current, then...

3. ...you may need contact your VAR. It may be that your install has become corrupt and SolidWorks needs to be re-installed. When uninstalling or installing SolidWorks, always make sure all Virus Protection software is disabled.

See it your assembly mode setting has "Hide all planes, axes" selected.

It sounds like you have the "HIDE ALL ANNOTATIONS" checked under the View drop-down menu.
