Default Worldmap

Hi

I'm trying to create a sphere, with the contur of the world either extruded from the surface, or as a "shell" around the surface. Siimilar to the picture on this page: Clipart Illustration of a Green Globe Of Planet Earth With White Continents, Suspended Over A Reflective White Surface

The sphere itself, is no problem. But is it at all possible to ex. wrap a 2D-sketch around the surface of the sphere?
Or is there another way to do it?

Thanks

Your right. Wrap command doesn't support sphere-surface.
But can solidworks do what I want at all?
And if not, which program can do it then?
