Default 3DS Parasolids

Hello,

I have a 3D model (from SolidEdge V18) that I wish to save as a 3DS file, I thought parasolid would be the best way to translate between the two, but can't find an option to import the parasolid into 3DS - is this possible?

Question 3DS will tell you

Launch 3DS and then try to open a file. The Open File dialogue should give you a drop-down list of what file extensions (e.g., *.igs, *.stp, etc.) it can recognise. What file formats are listed there?

Thanks

Default

When I click 'open' there is only *.max, *.drf and *.chr

If I click import, then there is a few more:
*.3DS
*.PRJ
*.AI
*.DEM
*.XML
*.DDF
*.DWG
*.DXF
*.FBX
*.HTR
*.IGE
*.IGS
*.IGES
*.IPT
*.IAM
*.LS
*.VW
*.LP
*.MTL
*.OBJ
*.SHP
*.STL
*.TRC
*.WRL
*.WRZ
*.XML

Cheers

Simon
