From Catia to 3D StudioMax

I was wondering if anyone knows how to import from Catia into 3D Studio Max? Really appreciate some help on this.

hi,

The easier solution fir this tranfer is to use the WRL file format. Save your model in CATIA in WRL and Import it in 3DS. The mistake with this method is that your model became an assembling of face group. For exemple: a cube became 6 objects of 2 faces. An other point: WRL save too the edge, and they became Lines.

An other solution is to use a convertor program like Deep Exploration. He can convert catPart to 3DS file. It's really better and ur models are unify.
