Default Help needed on creating a horizon

I have created a scene on and island in max. I would like the camera to see the sea to stretch out to the horizon. I have tried a few different methods but can't seem to find anything that looks right. Could anyone point me in the right direction to find out how to do this?.

You have just create a plane in max and under parameter>render multipliers>Scale set the value to 100. the plane would now render to look infinite. if you're trying to create a sea, simply give it a material with a lot of reflect/refract and some noise bump map.

Thanks for the quick reply, you definitely have the right idea of my appalling description. Thanks once again.
