Default How to create animated curtains in reactor?

Hi,
I want to have a large cylindrical curtain surrounding the center, covering everything up to the edge of the steps. I then want the curtains to part like there are ropes pulling them up as a character walks up the steps. Any suggestions.
Regards.

Hi,
Use a plane object as curtain. Apply a Cloth Modifier to this, and add it to a Cloth Collection. Then you may create some object to sustain the curtain by the top. If the support are animated, add this objects to a Deforming Mesh Collection. If not, a Rigid Body Collection will work. At the Cloth Modifier, in the modifier stack, you can attach vertices of the curtain to a Deformable Mesh or Rigid Body. Now, simulate the scene or create a dynamic animation.
Cheers!
