Arcobat 3D model extracting

How are you able to extract the 3-D model out of Acrobat 3-D into another 3-d program, and what are the steps to create a security password so this could not happen.

Believe the next version of Acrobat will allow you to export step and or iges files from pdf.

8.1 which is due out in June I think.
