Contract position for SolidWorks designer in Canada

Manufacturing company in Whitby Canada ..please reply with resume and hourly rate, must be living within commute rage

Require Product Designers for two month contract with possibility for extension to work on design projects in support of senior designers and design engineers.

Utilizing SolidWorks 2006 , designs major components or major portions of a system to develop products and facilitate manufacturing operations.

Must have Requirements: (or fairly close to)

5-6 years experience

Industrial Designer with Engineering and or Manufacturing background or Mechanical Engineer with concept design background or related Engineering/Designing studies with experience in full product design.


Knowledge of fabrication processes such as:
Patterns
Castings
Machining
Weldments


Expert in Solidworks 2006. Desirable: Autocad

Sense of urgency

Self motivated

Excellent communication skills

Team player
