Product Marketing Manager Needed (CAD/CAM)

VX Corp, a CAD/CAM developer located in Palm Bay, FL is seeking someone to fill the following position:

Product Marketing Manager

The VX product marketing manager is the product advocate, spokesperson, and market expert. The product marketing manager is responsible for providing product deliverables to the sales and marketing departments such as product demos, presentations, new release marketing themes and introduction strategies, etc., while also providing product requirements to development and product positioning and plan roll-out recommendations to executive management.

Duties:

• Develop strategies, themes and plans for introducing new releases
• Train VX sales channel personnel (AEs, support personnel, resellers, etc.)
• Develop sales presentations and demos for:
• Selling features and functions in new releases
• Selling VX in target vertical markets, e.g. mold&die market
• Selling VX vs. competition
• Selling VX features and benefits in general
• Provide technical content, images and guidance for brochures, VX web site, press releases, etc.
• Liaise with the VX sales channel on an on-going basis concerning market conditions and product issues
• Develop and maintain technical analysis of competitive products
• Assist with high impact sales opportunities
• Manage 3rd party relationships
• Assist with OEM opportunities
• Present at special events, i.e. trade shows, dealer meetings, investor meetings, press interviews, etc.
• Provide product requirements to development
• Provide product positioning and roll-out plan recommendations to executive management

Technical Qualifications:

Experience with:

• Mainstream 3D modeling products such as SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Pro/Engineer, UGS, etc.
• Mainstream 3D CAM products such as MasterCAM, DelCAM, SurfCAM, Pro/MAN, etc.
• MS Office Suite of products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Personal Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable about current market trends
• Knowledgeable about competitive CAD/CAM vendors
• Knowledgeable about VX target markets, i.e. mold&die industry, consumer and plastic products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong leadership skills
