Contingency plan checklist
- In general, the more complex the entity, the more likely you will encounter a problem with data exchanges. Sending simpler entities may still let the receiver attain an adequate level of functional equivalence from the exchange.
- Add points to form grids on surfaces.
- Add surface edge and intersection curves.
- Reduce complicated groups of geometries down to the surfaces that define faces. For example, reduce resulting trimmed surfaces to bounded surface patches.
- Expand (or explode) details and symbols.
- Leave points along curves at tangents, start, and end points.
