Always plan ahead ...

Tip:
A key to creating a successful viewing and display of a 3D model is to always plan ahead. Visualize in your mind and write down what you would ideally like the viewer to see happen on the screen as a result of your efforts. Any lack of this fundamental, simple, and yet crucial, step could cost a significant amount of wasted effort once immersed in the myriad detail of actually creating views and displays, whether they be animated or static.
