SpaceNavigator Setup in CATIA V5R17

could anybody advise on setting up a 3dconnexion SpaceNavigator in CATIA V5R17 please.

the manufacturer informs me not to use the devices control panel, but to use the one built into CATIA, but were not able to say where to locate it.
