Possible to create chain drive in ST4?

I have been working on a project for my intro to cad class that would require a chain drive. I am very confused on how to assemble it all. I have already designed the sprockets, chain links, etc. The sprockets are assembled in place. I tried making a pattern of chain links in the shape of the sprocket pitch diameters and assembling with axial allignment, but nothing I do seems to work. I am pretty sure all my calculations are correct.

My question is, is it possible, without the use of any additional plug-ins, to create a chain drive in solid edge st4? My teacher said "it is nearly impossible." But is it even possible at all?
