Selecting parts within an assembly

Hello,

I am making a testing rig and doing the drawings in solid edge. I have modelled the individual parts to create the base of the rig which consist of a base plate, supports to hold unistrut and unistrut channel. I have placed all the parts together in an assembly file. The supports have holes in them for fixing down onto the base plate, is there a way I can dynamically edit the base plate within the assembly to the draw a circle where the holes already are on the supports so I can then cut through the base plate? The only other way I can think of doing this is by opening the base plate drawing and measuring each hole from the supprt drawing which seems a little tedius.

Hope this makes sense and any help would be most appreciated.

Kind regards

Raj
