Creating Weldment Profile with Multiple Sketch Blocks

C4SEM4N

New member
I'm looking to create a custom weldment profile from two separate sketch blocks. What I am trying now is constraining the two separate blocks at the point(global origin) I would like them to rotate and closing off the blocks with a single line only constrained by coincident a point on each block, allowing them to rotate. The sketch operates exactly how intended.

But, when I try extrude it before I create the weldment it force checks the thin feature, which I do not want. Trying to use this profile(as thin feature) results in "Invalid member profile." error.

Any help on how to create a single working profile with these two blocks would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
