Creating a crow bar

Stuart9977

New member
Hi. I am trying to create a crowbar in solidworks but am struggling with how to do this since the end pry part is a different shape than the shaft.
Any tips on how to do this would be much appreciated.
I am fairly new to solidworks so a nice walk through would be terrific. Thanks so much

Hello Stuart9977,

Can you Post some details on your current approach is? And some pictures of the Crow Bar you are trying to model.

For Information:

I would use Loft Boss and/or in combination with Sweep Boss.

Just needs different cross section details at different portions along the length of the crow bar. Guide curves will help in controlling the cross section and shape between the selected section profiles.

Regards,
Vineet
