How to split a fill

Indyjet

Newbie
I am following a tutorial and I'm stuck on a step that seems simple. I have created a sketch with multiple shapes that need to be cut from the fill. I am able to select the the fill as the element to cut. The problem is I'm unable to select the sketch in the tree as the cutting elements. The sketch to be cut consists of a rectangle and several circles. Thanks for your help.

There might be a problem with the sketch. Open the sketch and use Tools + Sketch Analysis to verify
1) all the shapes (profiles) are closed, and
2) no extra points, no extra lines, etc.
