Hi,
I am wondering if there is a way to bring 3DS meshes or stl files back to solid and import them into Inventor 10. Some free models would be nice to use once manipulated and brought into IV10.
Any suggestions.
Thanks in advance.
You can use MDT to convert to 3D solid and save as .sat and reopen in Inventor or use IGESIN command and then surfaces stitch.
Or just open the 3ds file in MDT and use am2sf to convert to MDT surfaces and amstitch MDT surfaces to solid.
I hope this helps.
