revolve cuve

Revolved 3-D curve

There are several ways to do this:

1 -- Make a swept surface with a circle as the trajectory. Use your 3-D curve as the section for the sweep.

2 -- Locate an axis somwhere along the curve that you can use as the rotational axis for the resulting surface. Locate a sketching plane through the axis and at least one point on your curve. Project your curve onto the sketching plane and use that as a revolved section.

I'm sure there are other ways, but these are two that I've used with success.

Good luck and let us know what works out.

Regards,

Bob
