Autocad 2D to Solid Model

I design simple circular shapes in 2D AutoCad. I would like to be able to send these drawings to Pro-E so we can write tool passes for our CNC machining center. What is the easiest and most affordable way of getting a 2D drawing into a solid model?

You insert or open them in Pro/E sketcher. If the circumference is complete in a plan view you would then extrude a thickness if required. If you have a front view (like a spindle) you need to split on the c.l. then revolve about the center line. A real easy way is to make 3d in acad, export stl file anf import that in solid works.
