Problem Importing AI (Adobe Illustrator) Files

Avidan

New member
I am facing problem while importing Adobe Illustrator files as I presume the decimal symbol (separator) used by U.S. ASCII format, is different when compared to that used by International ASCII format. The AI translator does not translate the files correctly, because it does not recognize this difference.

Re: Importing AI (Adobe Illustrator) Files

This problem occurs when a comma is used for the decimal symbol. To resolve the problem, you need to check the regional settings in Windows Control Panel. On the Number tab of the Regional Settings dialog box, verify the character used in the Decimal symbol box. If the decimal symbol is a comma (,) change it to a period (.).
